Our very own Program Director, LaTreece Roby, developed a virtual/online escape room! Last month, she was able to pilot the Escape the Vape activity with Barber Middle School. There were about 7 class periods over three days (approximately 140 kids) who participated in this virtual “crack the code” activity. Students had to watch videos that educated them on the dangers of vaping. Then, they had to complete questions based on what they learned. Once they got all the right answers, they received a code to unlock a box of candy! Great job to LaTreece for her ingenuity and to the Barber Middle School students for being great sports and being willing to participate!
