Springing Into a Tobacco Free Season!

A new season provides the opportunity for new beginnings, journeys, and goals! This spring, let’s make an effort to encourage a friend, peer, and/or loved one to begin their quit journey when it comes to vaping and tobacco use… we are springing into a tobacco-free season!

Tobacco use and vaping as a teen can cause serious health issues which include hindering proper physical and mental development in addition to nicotine addiction. That is why it is important to educate youth on the harms of tobacco in efforts to prevent them from engaging in this unhealthy behavior. Therefore, we are making it a goal to share information and provide resources to the youth in our community!

If your child or a child you know is currently vaping/smoking and unable to stop, please contact the child’s health care provider, school counselor, or other trusted professional to discuss ways to help them quit. You can also check out some of these other resources below:
